Walter lived in a cliff sided village by the sea, so ruffian group from outside the village was coursing trouble when a seal showed up Walter was by its side to defended it when the ruffian came to cause trouble, Walter being a Monk class fighter defended the poor thing. Of the two ruffians snarky on was a caster Walter was more experienced so he dodged and deflected the attacks, but the the second ruffian tried using a wand that apparently had a charge to cast Fire Ball but that ruffian couldn’t control the wand so the land surround the cliff side while area was rumbling Walter had to decide whether or not to save the seal 🦭 it was not a hard choice of course he saved the seal. As the cliff shattered and he fell but not before critically harming the two members of the gang. He fell hugging on to the seal. Being a monk falling safely wasn’t a problem the real problem was what happened next the waves of the sea pushed Walter into the rocks one after the other he kept the seal safe the entire time letting himself to have his skin torn on one side, after all the waves have calmed down the man washed up on shore a man in a lab coat sees the man while on his way out of the lighthouse and hears a seal softly crying in the man’s chest, the old man looks down with expression of sorrow for the seal. Old man: I’m sorry, about your friend.) he puts his hand to him. (Old man: he seems to have a spark of life not that he needs it for what I’m about to do to him.) he put his hand on the seal, the seal barked at him. The still wants to be there so he let the seal follow. (Old man: okay just remember this won’t be pretty and I Will put him back together.) the seal nodded. They went in and begun operation by the time it ended the final step was for a little magic and science. A machine with blue energy is rolled out and the energy shot out infused into the body that’s not entirely dead. The old man castes some necromancy to start up both the body and the soul still attached to it. The body jolts and shakes life returns to his eyes Walter rises one again and grasps breath and the seal is delighted seeing him look… well the seal lounges to Walter. Walter surprised freaks out. (Walter: what? Who are you.) the seal hearing that tears up, But the old man explains (old man: his memory’s will be foggy for a while.) (Walter: what?) his memories might be hazy but after a week remembers some details remembered how things ended up like this and researching what happened after that like, the ruffians maimed by him being arrested, and the rest of the gang thrown out of town. Walter remembers his powers and the seal.
